To read your ebook you will need our free special PDF reader for Windows PCs called "Javelin". You only need to download and install it once, however many ebooks you purchase. Please make sure that you have your Authorization code or codes for the book(s) you have ordered and follow the steps below carefully. If you have any problems you can email us for assistance, as indicated at the foot of this web page. Thank you


For Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 users who have Microsoft .NET4.5 or later installed

STEP 1: Use your Internet browser to download the special "Javelin3" PDF reader for your PC from:

here

Choose the "Save File" or "Save" option if prompted - then simply run the downloaded SETUP file by double-clicking it - ignore any Windows warning messages about exe files - the file is perfectly safe and contains no virus etc! The reader will be installed and links to Javelin3 provided on your Desktop and Start menus and the program will open automatically

STEP 2: Select/click on the Catalog option on the opening page and it will show you a number of catalogs from different publishers - select/click the "XXXXXXXX" catalog and it will download details of all their publications.

OR, if as a Publisher you prefer to use Javelin3Pro without the built-in Catalogs then step 1 should be to download and install Javelin3Pro from here, and then:

STEP 2: Select the Download icon on the toolbar (downward facing arrow) and download the following catalog file: (yourwebsite or our pdfz.org site).yourmastercatalog.xml or the file you want the user to download (specify here or on the booklist page)

STEP 3: Select/click on the ebook you have ordered and it will download and save the ebook automatically and then will prompt you for an authorization code in order to view your ebook. You can type the code for that specific ebook into the field or copy the code and paste it into the field, press OK and then it is checked over the internet. After authorizing the file it available to view without requiring authorization again. If the code is not correct for that ebook it will let you know, so it is important to check you are selecting the correct book and using the specific code for that book. The code entered should be 9 characters in length and will have no upper case letters - it is all in lower case and numbers.


For Windows 7 users and older versions of Windows who do NOT have Microsoft .NET4.5 or later installed

STEP 1: Download the book or books you have ordered. You can either download all the titles in one go as a zipped set of files, and then extract the files and use the book or books you have ordered, or you can select the specific book or books you have ordered from the list provided. The books download page is provided

here.

We strongly recommend that you SAVE the files to your DOCUMENTS folder - just clicking on a download link and not saving the file will not work correctly and the file will not be saved on your PC in a permanent location for subsequent use.

After downloading your book or books you will need to open them using the free Javelin for Windows PDF reader - see step 2

After authorizing the file it is available to view without requiring authorization again. If the code is not correct for that ebook it will let you know, so it is important to check you are selecting the correct book and using the specific code for that book. Notes: The authorization process relates the file to the computer and disk on which it is authorized. If you wish to move the file to another disk or use it on another computer you will need to repeat this process and re-use the authorization code provided (you may use this code NN times in total).
